Today, US Helpers share life with groups and individuals.  They listen and dialogue with others, and bring different people together in some of the following activities:

• religious education
• Specialized faith experience programs for the disabled
• Spiritual accompaniment
• A ministry of prayer for the Church and the world
• Parish and family ministries
• Youth
• Education
• Justice and peace education
• Phychotherapy in the urban community
• Serving Hispanic communities, immigrant and minority groups
• The situation of women in society
• The community sponsors a shelter for homeless women and children in Chicago.

Thus, in our lives we try to discern the signs 
of the Reign of God

already present in and around us, 
to welcome and respect

the values of those whom we meet,

to receive them as the witneses

of the presence of the Spirit.

We seek to witness Gospel values

in a dialogue which is open

to present day problems.
